The stand itself can be horizontally or vertically mounted, with a flexible arm that allows it to be positioned where you need it. Amongst the StingRay’s versatile trigger configurations is a “light switch” mode. Click the trigger once and the beam stays on until you click again to turn it off. It makes a very convenient power switch, suitable for use with the many PC's that don’t actually turn off power to their USB ports even when the PC itself is off.
